When Trust Breaks: Healing After Betrayal

Betrayal cuts deeper than most wounds. It’s not just the act—it’s the shattering of trust, the unraveling of safety, the sting of being deceived by someone you once held close.

Whether it’s a friend, a partner, or even family, betrayal leaves behind a trail of questions:
“Was I not enough?”
“Why did they do this?”
“How do I ever trust again?”

But here’s the truth: you are not defined by what was done to you.

In the Bible, even Jesus was betrayed—by Judas, one of His own disciples. He understands the ache. He knows the sting. And He still chose love.

“Even my close friend, someone I trusted, one who shared my bread, has turned against me.” — Psalm 41:9

This blog is a place to unpack that pain. To sit with it. To name it. And then, slowly, to begin healing.

You are still the King’s daughter. You are still loved. You are still worthy of trust, of joy, of restoration.

Let’s walk through the ashes together and find beauty again.

Would you like the next post to focus on “Jesus My Big Brother” or “Burying Your Loved Ones”? I can help you build a series that flows with emotional depth and spiritual strength.
